India’s WTC 2025-27 final hopes take a hit— Where does Shubman Gill’s side stand after Bangladesh’s historic win
India’s next Test series under the WTC 2025/27 will be against Sri Lanka away from home, after which they will make a trip to New Zealand for another away red-ball series by the end of the year.
They will start the year with the five-match Test series in the home Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2027 against Australia. They will need to win at least eight of those nine games to have a chance in the final qualification, which is going to take place at Lord’s in June next year.
