Despite his explosive effort, the Royals were unable to defend the total as Sunrisers Hyderabad mounted a dominant response.

In the chase, half-centuries from Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan powered SRH to a commanding five-wicket victory, with the target successfully chased down with nine balls to spare. Their partnership ensured Sunrisers stayed ahead throughout the innings and eventually overhauled the score with authority.

Together, they built a crucial 112-run partnership for the second wicket, laying a solid platform for a big total. Late acceleration from Donovan Ferreira, who added a quick 33, ensured RR crossed the 220-run mark. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Eshan Malinga claimed two wickets while Pat Cummins kept things tight with disciplined bowling.

In reply, Sunrisers Hyderabad produced a commanding chase led by their explosive opening pair. Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan tore into the Rajasthan attack, taking full control of the powerplay. Kishan played a destructive knock of 74 off 31 balls, while Abhishek contributed a fluent 57 off 29 deliveries, ensuring SRH remained ahead of the required rate throughout the innings.

Despite breakthroughs from Rajasthan Royals bowlers Jofra Archer and Brijesh Sharma, who picked up two wickets each, SRH maintained momentum with composure in the middle overs. The chase was completed comfortably as Sunrisers reached 229/5 in just 18.3 overs.
