The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 has reached the midway point, with the playoffs coming up sooner than anticipated. The fans are enjoying the league thoroughly, but are also waiting for the playoff schedule and the venues to book their tickets. As per the previous rituals, the final game is supposed to be held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, since RCB won the finals in 2025.

However, due to the stadium's capacity and the unfortunate incident that happened last year, the board is exploring safer options for the fans. The matches are going to be intriguing from here on, and the level of competition will increase as well. Hence, ahead of the playoffs, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia has revealed the plans for the playoffs.
