Krunal Pandya opens up on handling pressure situations

The Indian spin all-rounder, Krunal Pandya, reckoned that he had always tried to use his experience and keep things simple in intense situations of the game.

“I mean, obviously, first of all, it’s a very good place to be before the start of the tournament, that we are the defending champions. And the second thing is that when you play at the highest level, regardless of whether you are the defending champions or you are not or you are getting into the tournament, the pressure is always there.” Krunal expressed on Star Sports.

“And I always believe that I, as an athlete, try to prepare myself for tough situations. So, whenever there is that extra pressure or the position where I need to do well in those situations, that gets me going. Yes, there is pressure, but nothing changes at the end of the game. It’s just a game.” KP addressed.

“You have to play good cricket, no matter whether you are the defending champions or not. Having played a good amount of cricket, it has been nearly a decade since I played at this level, and I have a bit of experience to share with the teammates. At the end of the day, it’s about keeping things simple regardless of how things are.” The elder Pandya brother noted.
