The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is all about the teams scoring 200+ runs and trying to chase it in the second innings. In case of toss, the captains are more intrigued to field first, keeping aside the real strength of the team. Meanwhile, in the Gujarat Titans (GT) vs Mumbai Indians (MI) clash in Ahmedabad, the visitors slammed 199 runs in the first innings, thanks to a cracking century by Tilak Varma. 

Naman Dhir also contributed to the score with his 45 off 32 balls, including six boundaries and a six. He played a sensible innings, and that six became the highlight of the match. The shot was confident and shocked the crowd and the players alike.

Naman Dhir takes on Sundar with fearless big hit

Naman Dhir came to bat at the No. 3 position and took on the bowlers quickly. He rotated the strike and kept the scorecard going, which also helped MI in the middle overs. They didn't get stuck, and that was enough to put up a mammoth total on the board. Meanwhile, Naman's six came at the perfect time. 

In the second ball of the 11th over, he picked up the length and smashed it towards the long on. The towering six stunned the crowd present in the stadium as the cheers kept on coming. It was an absolutely brilliant performance by the young batter who took on Washington Sundar with ease. He was later dismissed by Prasidh Krishna in the 13th over. He tried to pull the ball towards the deep mid-wicket but couldn't get enough on it and was out.
