India women’s cricket has transformed over the years, developing into a strong batting unit capable of posting massive totals in one-day internationals. From veteran stars like Harmanpreet Kaur to modern-day greats like Smriti Mandhana, the women’s team has shown its ability to dominate opposing bowling attacks.

As the game has developed, the strong depth of the blue brigade’s batting line-up and the aggressive approach have helped the national side post memorable totals. Mandhana’s attacking stroke play, Kaur’s power-hitting, and other aspects have contributed to India putting opposition teams under pressure. When multiple batters fire in the same innings, they turn a competitive total into a daunting total.

These massive scores have highlighted the growing depth of India’s women’s team. Rather than depending on one individual player, they have benefited from several partnerships and contributions from multiple positions. Big centuries at a high strike rate and explosive finishes play a major role in India women’s biggest ODI totals.

Such performances are important in the 50-over format, where a strong start, productive middle overs phase, and a powerful finish make the difference between an ordinary total and the record-breaking score.
