The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken note of the reel culture that has created issues. This has led to violations of its guidelines.
“The real culture has led to many violations of late. There are a few Indian players who post videos on match days, just before a match, and immediately after the conclusion of the match.” It added.
Due to the flags from the Anti-Corruption Unit, the board has mandated strict and immediate direction on all ten franchises and management, along with the players. Chahal was seen to be using the e-cigarettes in the flight, while the camera caught Riyan Parag vaping inside the dressing room. The RR captain was later fined 25% of his match fee for this instance.
