The defending champions of the Women’s Premier League (WPL), the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), retained as many as 13 players from the 2027 season of the tournament and signed four players at the auction of the 2027 edition, which took place in Kochi on October 27 (Wednesday).
They released superb player of the Australian side, Grace Harris, who played some impressive knocks during the WPL at the beginning of this year. Due to this, they tried to sign the Australian captain, Sophie Molineux, but failed to secure the deal as the UP Warriorz signed her for a massive price of INR 1.10 crore.
